Denise Van Outen' s ex-partner Eddie Boxshall has shared a tearful video to fans online and as he opened up on the terrible time he's been experiencing of late.
The 46 year old, who is known to fans for starring in Channel 4's Gogglebox, gave insight into his friend's cancer battle and told his followers that he was crying tears of joy.
Sharing the happy news that his friend has overcome cancer, Eddie took to his Instagram story to reveal to his 65.7k followers that his close pal has finally been given the all-clear.
The star said: "Do you know what? I have had a really, really, bad time over the last couple of months and these aren't tears of sadness, they are tears of joy.
"This puts everything that anyone goes through into perspective, you have one life, stay healthy and live it, Dan love you, get in there."
Captioning the clip, the star appeared to allude to his recent split with Denise as he further went into detail on the importance of taking care of your health.
He penned: "Whatever happens in life just remember all we have is our health and nothing else matters!!"
He added: "I've personally had my own problems over the last few months and dealing with them the best I can but the news I received a short while ago puts my life into perspective, and it's all about making life a healthy and happy one!!!"
The news of Eddie's post comes after Denise also appeared to mention her recent break-up as she announced some very exciting news to her fans online.
Updating her followers on the release of her new book, she wrote: "Got there in the end! After a few rewrites (for obvs reasons) my autobiography is now ready to pre-order. (for a signed copy link in bio) OUT 17th MARCH @eburybooks & @terryronald thank you for your patience, you are a brilliant team and have been incredibly supportive."
In January, Denise left fans stunned when she revealed that she had split from her beau Eddie.
Taking to social media, the model said: "I had to make the difficult decision not to continue in our relationship. I will always treasure the good times we spent together, and the memories made."
