A representative confirmed the news of the engagement to ABC News and also added that Zandy proposed with a 4-carat ring that he helped to design. Fancy.

Zandy Reich is the president of clothing company AYR, and he and Lea have been dating for more than a year now after going public with their relationship in July 2017.

Many of Lea’s Glee co-stars and friends were quick to send their congratulations to the couple, whose engagement follows five years after Cory Monteith tragically passed away at the age of 31 in 2013.

Lea was in a relationship with Cory at the time of his passing, and has continued to pay tribute to the actor in the years since, including getting a tattoo in honour of Monteith and recording the heart-wrenching ‘If You Say So’ for her first album, Louder.

Next up for Lea – besides wedding planning, of course – will be a joint tour with Glee and American Crime Story: The Assassination of Gianni Versace star Darren Criss which will see the duo perform together across several dates in North America from the end of May.

I’m going on tour with @DarrenCriss! link in my bio for all the dates and to sign up for pre-sale access. Pre-sale starts this Wednesday at 10am EST! #LMDCtour

“We’ve always had so much fun performing together for one-off gigs, so it’s high time we took that show on the road,” the duo said in a joint statement.

“We share so much musical history together between Glee, Broadway, and our own solo projects, so it will be fun to put it all together for our fans in one big show.”
