Idina Menzel, Tina Fey, and Audra McDonald are to front an upcoming Concert For America to highlight the plight of immigrants trying to find a home in the U.S.
The trio will join Chita Rivera and Mandy Gonzalez, among others at The Cooper Union show in New York, set for 30 June.
Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the Texas Civil Rights Project, ACLU Foundation of Texas, and the Florence Project, among other charities working to protect the civil and human rights of families on the U.S. border with Mexico, who have been pulled apart by U.S. leader Donald Trump’s controversial immigration policies.
