Love Island’s Belle Hassan claims Anton Danyluk ‘forgot about’ her after split

Belle Hassan and Anton Danyluk first met on this year's Love Island, and swiftly coupled up on the show.

Falling at the last hurdle, and failing to bag a place in the final, during their post villa interview they stressed the miles between them wouldn't stop their relationship from working.

However, five weeks after the programme wrapped Anton and Belle called time on their short-lived relationship – the second couple to do so.

Speaking about the romance, the Essex makeup artist revealed she thought her former beau "forgot her" as he wanted to "party, party, party" all the time.

Insisting they're still good friends and there's no bad blood between them, the blonde bombshell felt she the Scottish gym owner got carried away with his overnight stardom.

Speaking to The Sun Online, she said: "He just got caught up with everything, like fame and going out. He wanted to party, party, party and I think he just forgot about me a little bit. That's fine, I understand that."

Discussing Anton's public appearances at nightclubs across the country, Belle confessed she found it difficult to see him with groups of eager fans.

  • Love Island stars already raking in millions – but who's bagging what?

She added: "It's hard because he's going to all these clubs where girls are screaming 'I love you' at him.

"It's going to give you an ego-boost and make you think you're the man."

Despite the split, the 21-year-old admitted they speak "more than they ever did" because "there's no pressure".

And while Anton is keeping busy in Scotland, Belle, who's father is actor Tamer Hassan, has reportedly eyed up a career in music.

Since leaving the show, Belle has been showing off her vocal range on Instagram in a bid to bag a record deal.

We could be hearing her on the airways very soon…
