All Point East festival announces female-powered day festival with FREE movie screenings

All Points East festival will be screening movies for FREE during their All Points Equal build-up event in London.

The festival’s event is coming to Victoria Park during May, which will sandwich between its main gigs featuring the likes of LCD Soundsystem, Beck and St. Vincent across two weekends.

All Points East will celebrate 100 years of votes for some women and 90 years of equal voting for both men and women. To mark the initiative they’ll be screening the likes of Disney’s Moana, Suffragette, as well as Made in Dagenham.

Elsewhere the event will have street food curated by Sourced Food and pop-up bars. Plus there’ll be yoga training sessions, along with children’s theatre and football workshops for free, too.
