Rita Ora releases bisexual banger 'Girls' and confirms her own sexuality

Rita Ora has dropped her star-studded and bisexual banger ‘Girls’ and seemingly confirmed her own bisexuality.

The single, taken from the artist’s forthcoming album, was released on Friday (May 11) and features Rita alongside Cardi B, Charli XCX and Bebe Rexha.

Described by the singer herself as a “gender-fluid freedom record,” the song talks about girl-on-girl romance.

And, in an interview following the release of the lyric video, Rita confirmed she is “50/50” when it comes to her sexual orientation. She also expressed hopes the song would become a “bisexual anthem.”

“If I was 50/50, I’m not saying, “I’m 70/30″, I’m 50/50, and I’m not gonna hide it,” she told People.

“I’m not hiding what I am, who I am, if I wanna do this, if I wanna do that. That’s just how it’s gonna be.”

She added: “I think, obviously, the song is very impactful in its own way. It definitely has a point.

“For me, I always looked at this song as a real gender-fluid freedom record. I never looked at it as, ‘Only females can listen to it’ or ‘Only males can listen to it.’ It’s for everybody.

“It really represents freedom and the chance to be what you want to be — and there being no judgement and just living your life as you want to live it.

“That’s what this song represents to me every time I hear it.”
