Strictly star Katya Jones flogging old clothes online for £1 to make extra cash

Strictly star Katya Jones is flogging old clothes online to make extra cash.

The dancer, 31, has been using marketplace website Depop to sell items for as little as £1.

Fans have been buying suspender jeans, skirts and dresses that she’s previously worn.

Other items include mittens, trainers, socks and a hat.

On her profile page, Katya says: “I am selling items I no longer need for very reasonable prices. You can buy as a bundle to pay shipping only once. Message for any questions.”

Shrewd Katya has already sold more than 60 items in a matter of days.

But most have gone for less than a tenner.

Katya’s decision to flog her stuff comes after a string of gigs had to be scrapped due to coronavirus.

The star is thought to have lost out on thousands of pounds in earnings.

Katya starred on last year’s series of Strictly but she was forced to pull out of the contest early after testing positive for the virus.

She had been paired with boxer Nicola Adams, 38, in the show's first same-sex couple.
