THE Disney theme parks are celebrating 100 years of the Walt Disney Company next year – and there are lots of new rides and attractions to get excited about.
Disney World, along with Disneyland California and Disneyland Paris all have new openings planned for 2023.
In March the celebrations for Disney World's 50th anniversary will come to an end, while the Disneyland Paris 30th anniversary celebrations last until next autumn.
While it's not clear if any of the specialist attractions will disappear for good, there are a number of other rides, restaurants and hotels opening their doors to visitors – here are some of the best of the bunch.
Disney World – Tron Lightcycle Power Run and Toy Story restaurant
After being under construction for five years, Disney World has announced the opening of a Tron-themed ride for next Spring.
Guests will sit on individual motorcycles and grip a set of handlebars while a pad behind the seat comes down and secures visitors in place as they're taken on a journey through the Tron films.
