Buy a round-trip ticket, get a free round-trip ticket free on Frontier Airlines (with a catch)

The Beatles said you get by with a little help from your friends − and now Frontier flyers are the ones doing the helping.

The discount airline’s latest promotion, “Friends Fly Free,” will let travelers get one free round-trip ticket when they buy a “Discount Den Fare” for certain routes and dates. The Discount Den Fare Club is a membership program for Frontier customers, which costs $59.99 a year.

Frontier announced a promotion called “Kids Fly Free” earlier this year also a part of the Discount Den program.

But like the “Kids Fly Free” promotion, make sure you know what you’re getting into first. The “Friends Fly Free” page says customers should purchase by May 19 and travel by June 12 or between June 18 and Aug. 28. You can check which routes are participating in the promotion during each period here; tickets mus be purchased seven days in advance.

Those aren’t the only caveats: Through June 12, the discount is only available for travel Mondays through Thursdays and Saturdays. For the June 18 through Aug. 28 period, travelers can fly Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

And there are blackout dates around Memorial Day and July Fourth. People will not be able to use the discount for travel May 23 to 25, 27 to 29 and July 2 to 3.

Previously they had to pool tips among all attendants.
