The Costa Brava, Majorca, Turkey, Bulgaria and Malta are where parents will find some of the best deals this summer school holiday from the UK.
That is according to price searches via holiday price comparison site, TravelSupermarket, who looks at costs for seven-night all-inclusive package holidays between July 21 and August 26.
In the 90s, it was all about half-board but now all-inclusive is Brits’ favourite board type, which could be partly down to the fact they have dropped in cost by up to 10 per cent compared to last summer.
For those looking for the best deal, the first and last weeks of the summer school holidays often offer the best package prices and flying mid-week can also offer savings.

1. Costa Brava, Spain
Seven night package holidays for Brits to the Costa Brava have dropped by around seven per cent in price this summer compared with last.
Resorts including Lloret de Mar, Malgrat de Mar, Pineda de Mar and Calella offer good all-inclusive deals for families during the summer holidays.
Travel Supermarket's travel expert Emma Coulhurst said: “The Costa Brava is in the process of challenging people’s pre-conceptions and is becoming cool again.
"Some of the big tour operators stopped selling holidays there back in 2009, but have reintroduced it for this summer.
"Because it hasn’t been on tour operators books for a while, there are some really good prices to entice people there this year."
A week during the July/August school holiday for a family of four with school-age children starts from under £400pp for seven nights.
