Disneyland Paris has just delighted fans with a first glimpse at its brand new Marvel themed area opening in its Walt Disney Studios Park.
Euro Disney has released an artist’s impression of what guests will see when they first arrive in the new themed land, where they will be able to look out for their favourite superheroes including Black Panther, Iron Man, Captain America and many more.
And it looks incredibly cool.
The sneak preview suggests there’ll be dedicated attractions around the iconic comic book stars, whether you want to explore the mystic arts with Doctor Strange or join Spider-Man on gravity-defying feats.
As well as the character meet and greets, new attractions, entertainment and dining, guests will also get to experience a reimagined Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, which will become a high-speed, hyper-kinetic adventure.
The new area is part of a €2 billion expansion for the theme parks, which will also see new themed areas around Star Wars and Frozen.
Although Disney has not yet confirmed opening dates for the various attractions, it had revealed that the first phases of the expansion will be rolled out in 2021.
Of course it’s already been an exciting few days for Marvel fans, after Disney unveiled the first teaser trailer for Avengers 4: Endgame, set to be released in April 2019.
Theme park fans will also get to have a taster of the Marvel-themed fun to be had at Disneyland next summer, as the park’s popular Season of Super Heroes will return with epic adventures to be had for budding heroes alongside the likes of Black Widow and the Guardians of the Galaxy.
Meanwhile, Disney’s Hotel New York will be transformed to become Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel in 2020, showcasing the history and exciting features to be found in the world of Marvel.
There’s no denying that Euro Disney is getting a major transformation, with new plans across its hotels and theme parks to be implemented by 2030, meaning it could almost double in size.
