A treehouse stay may conjure up images of sleeping bags, cold weather and a couple of snacks, but there's one treehouse stay that has massively upped the stakes with a luxurious 5-star offering.
That's because The Treehouse in Somerset has huge bed, a full kitchen, cosy living room with a TV… and its own outdoor hot tub.
The best part is that it's a family-friendly property, so it can make for a brilliant getaway for both parents and the kids.
Tucked away in the heart of the countryside amidst heaps of lush green trees, a short drive from nearby villages and beaches as well as Exmoor National Park, its surroundings are something out of a storybook.
Then there's the enclosed private garden – complete with a private play area for the kids – as well as a wooden deck and picnic bench.
Oh, and then there's that very inviting outdoor wooden hot tub with views of the landscape.
If the British weather lets you down, the treehouse living room has a large TV and stacks of DVDs so you can have a cosy afternoon watching films – and if it's cold, the wood-burning stove and underfloor heating can help you warm up.
Meanwhile, the spacious kitchen has everything you need for whipping up some hearty meals – and the nearby farm shop could be just the place to pick up some delicious local grub.
The treehouse itself is made up of wooden furniture and decor, with the winding staircase transformed to look like a tree trunk for a fairytale-esque feel.
For those who don't fancy going completely off the grid, there is Wi-Fi on offer.
The property is actually part of Lavender Hills Holidays so you'll have access to heaps of fun activities, and even an indoor heated swimming pool.
Want to stay? Prices start from £396 for two nights with Independent Cottages (the property has a minimum two-night stay policy). The TreeHouse sleeps up to four people across two rooms, so if there are four of you, that works out at £99pp.
