Mel C is going to have a jam-packed schedule next year!
Not only will the singer be performing alongside Emma Bunton, Mel B and Geri Horner on the highly-anticipated Spice Girls tour, but she’s also embarking on a solo venture as one of the headline DJs at Butlin’s On the Decks festival in March.
Just like the Spice Girls tour, there’ll be plenty of nostalgia on offer for fans. In fact, Sporty Spice will be performing her ’90s Mix Tape’ set for the first time.
Taking place at Butlin’s Minehead Resort from the 15th-19th March, the weekend will see a line-up that also includes former JLS member Marvin Humes, alongside the likes of Danny Howard, Judge Jules, Artful Dodger and DJ Sash!
The best part is that unlike most festivals, you won’t need to break the bank if you want to go.
Prices for breaks start from £109pp based on four people sharing Silver Self-Catering accommodation.
That includes access to all the venues for all of the DJ sets, as well as access to plenty more fun ranging from daytime and evening shows to silent discos, live comedy performances and even the occasional pool party or two!
It’s by no means Mel C’s first DJ set. The performer has already been DJing for years, playing at the likes of the Palace Music Festival, FestiFeel and many more.
Next year promises to be an exciting year for the star as she reprises her role as Sporty Spice for the Spice Girl’s long-awaited comeback tour.
The band caused a social media meltdown earlier this year when they announced they were re-forming, although Victoria Beckham won’t be joining them.
The Spice Girls also caused more excitement when they revealed what their new slogan is ahead of their massive arena tour.
Although Girl Power was their iconic slogan, this time they will be reforming under the banner of ‘People power’.
