Ryanair launches 2022 flight sale – with fares from £29.99

RYANAIR has launched its summer 2022 flights early.

The budget airline has released tickets for 160 routes to popular holiday spots from the UK.

Beach destinations include Faro, Fuerteventura, Ibiza, Lanzarote, Marseille and Malta, and city break locations include Budapest, Copenhagen, Lisbon and Rome.

All routes can be booked up to October 2022 and fares start from £29.99 i a flash sale that ends midnight on Thursday.

Brits have been busy booking up staycations due to ongoing uncertainty around foreign travel, with some UK holiday companies selling out for summer 2021.

As a result, many holidaymakers are looking further ahead and planning a 2022 break, when there are more options available.

UK holiday company Cottages.com has reported a 134 per cent increase in 2022 bookings, in comparison to the same point in 2019 when Brits were booking for 2020.

If you're looking for a deal on a break next year, we've rounded up some staycation options for 2022 from £139 per stay.

TUI has also launched over 100,000 more holidays for summer 2022 due to soaring demand.

The most popular holiday destinations include Greece, Turkey and Florida, with more than 62 destinations on offer.

Next May is the most popular right now, as Brits wanting a May bank holiday trip abroad are less optimistic about a trip going ahead this year.

A TUI spokesperson explained: "We continue to see strong pent-up demand in the UK, with bookings for summer 2022 now around 120 per cent higher compared to summer 2021 bookings.

“Bookings for May 2022 are recording an increase of more than 150 per cent compared to May 2021.”
