WANT to be paid to live on a Cornish island in a castle? Thankfully you now can.
St Michael's Mount, the famous tourist attraction off the coast is looking for a live-in staff member.
The job, which is fully paid, comes with accommodation, which means you can live in the castle for five nights a week.
The lucky Castle Officer will get uninterrupted views of the sea, as well as be able to travel by boat as a way of commuting.
Of course, the job will also require cleaning and maintaining the castle – the job description explains the applicant will "ensure that cleaning is carried out thoroughly in all areas to a very high standard, including cleaning of toilets".
Don't expect to be able to easily head to the mainland for a pint or a restaurant dinner – the man-made granite stone path that links the castle to the mainland is submerged twice a day by the tide.
Castle Steward Duncan Murdoch said of the role: "The best thing about living here is having a sea view from every window.
"The worst thing is not being able to get a pizza delivered to your door."
Head of HR at St Aubyn Estates, Kate Cornwell, added: "People who suffer from sea sickness need not apply. You'll need to love boats as it's the only way to get on and off the island at high tide."
The island is run by both the National Trust and St Aubyn Estates, having been in the family since 1659.
Only 30 people currently live on the island, although 350,000 people visit the church and the gardens every year.
It isn't the first time the castle has offered a dream job – in 2019 St Michaels's Mount was on the hunt for a new gardener to tend to the plants on the island.
The job came with a £28,500 salary, as well as a two or three bedroom house on the island to live in.

Another dream job on St Michael's Mount was the position of Visitor Services Manager, which 38-year-old Richard James was lucky enough to have.
He previously told Sun Online Travel: "I don’t spend ages sitting in traffic or crammed onto public transport anymore, my commute is now an easy drive finished off with the boat over to the island from the mainland."
Here is what you can expect from a trip to the famous St Michael's Mount.
