Forget business class – this is hotel class.
Airbus has unveiled a breathtaking design concept for private widebody jets that features a master bedroom, office, bathroom and lounge. And a rather cool holographic globe that shows passengers where in the world they are during the flight.
The cabin concept is called Harmony and Airbus says it combines the ‘comfort and space of a widebody cabin with the practicality to suit the longest of flights’.
The Airbus cabin concept called Harmony, which can be fitted to its private jets. It features a master bedroom, office, bathroom and lounge
The cabin was initially proposed for the new ACJ330neo jets that feature new-generation engines but Harmony can also suit other Airbus widebodies, such as the ACJ350 XWB.
Turning left leads to the master bedroom, office and bathroom, while turning right takes passengers into a spacious lounge with seating grouped at round tables.
Just beyond the lounge is a conference table, and beyond that there are four VIP guest-suites – each featuring an office that converts to a bedroom, plus an en-suite bathroom with shower.
Interior images of the luxury cabin show how passengers are greeted with a holographic globe, showing the aircraft’s position
Seating for support staff and a galley make up the rear of the cabin, which can be adapted to serve both private and government customers.
Benoit Defforge, president of Airbus Corporate Jets, said: ‘Long-haul flights provide time for productive work and socialising, as well as rest, and ACJ’s Harmony cabin concept is wonderfully well designed to enable all of these, while bringing the world within a single flight.
‘Harmony is a timeless and elegant design concept, because we dare to break the conventions that are traditionally imposed on us as cabin designers.

‘Our creativity needs to be unique to fit the needs of our customers, as befits a host receiving their guests in their “world above the world”.’
Airbus says all of the corporate jet versions have intercontinental capability, with some – such as the ACJ330neo and ACJ350 XWB – going beyond to deliver ‘nonstop to the world range’.
Over 190 Airbus corporate jets are currently in service but it is unclear how much buying a jet kitted out with the Harmony cabin costs.
