Long gone are the days when stag dos and hen dos were mainly a big night out; nowadays, it's often a whole weekend away that's on the cards.

For stag parties, it's Bristol which has proven the most popular – and it's fairly budget-friendly with average costs of £73 per night for holiday rentals.
As for hen parties? Liverpool needs to be on their radar, where they can expect average costs of £87 per night for accommodation.
To determine the most popular hotspots, the research from Big-Cottages.com looked at the destinations being booked or searched for on its website, including accommodation which was hen do/stag do friendly.
There were some cities which proved popular for both parties including Cardiff, Manchester, London and Bournemouth, all of which impressed with their offerings for large groups of friends.
On a budget? Birmingham proved to be the cheapest city with an average cost of £62 per night for holiday rentals.
