Acid attack victim vows to ‘make scars sexy’ in stunning lingerie transformation

An acid attack victim who was left with horrific third degree burns over half her body has vowed to “make scars sexy” after she released a lingerie snap showing off her stunning transformation.

Dana Vulin was targeted in a vile ambush and doused in methylated spirits by a jealous nutter who wrongly accused her of sleeping with her boyfriend.

The brave 36-year-old had to endure a gruelling 200 surgeries to repair the damage as best as possible from the raw, burned skin she suffered in the immediate aftermath.

She received widespread praise after sharing her incredible new look last month in a pulse-racing red lingerie set 10 years on from the heinous attack.

Today, the inspirational woman revealed she shared the snap to “own her narrative”.

She told The Morning Show : “When I did my reveal, I was like, ‘I’m gonna make this burn my b***h, and I’m gonna make scars sexy.’

“And, whether no one else thinks scars are sexy, or that’s not attractive to them, I feel sexy, and I feel good.

“I worked really hard to get to where I am, and to have that body and that is so raw.”

Dana told hosts Kylie Gillies and Larry Emdur that her surgery means she won’t wrinkle.

She laughed: “I’m a glass-half-full kind of person. Because of my scars, I can’t get saggy. I can’t age.”

“I think now I am as unique on the outside as I am on the inside.

“I won’t age. I’ll keep it tight forever. I won’t get the bat wings, jowls. I essentially won’t even wrinkle, so when I’m 70, I’ll look, hopefully, cuter than I do now.”

Natalie Dimitrovska, who was found guilty of the evil attack, was sentenced to 17 years in prison in 2013 after a court convicted her of grievous bodily harm.

Incredible Dana went on to describe the grim attack in her 2017 book Worth Fighting For.
