Alec Baldwin 'arrested after punching driver in fight over a parking spot' in New York

The 60-year-old is said to have got into an argument with a fellow motorist in Manhattan, New York.

According to TMZ, the 30 Rock actor screamed "f*** off" after the driver swooped in and took the parking space Baldwin was waiting to use.

Cops were called and rushed to the scene in the West Village and arrested Baldwin.

The international superstar has won three Emmy Awards, two Golden Globe awards, seven Screen Actors Guild Awards and been nominated for an Academy Award.

He is mainly known for appearing in a host of popular TV shows including Friends, Will and Grace and Saturday Night Live.

Baldwin has an estimated fortune of £48million and has also appeared in a number of top movies including Beetlejuice, The Aviator and The Departed.
