The body of missing British backpacker Stephanie Simpson has been found after she went missing during a hike in New Zealand.
Police began looking for Stephanie after the 32-year-old failed to show up for work on Monday morning.
She had told friends she was heading to Mt Aspiring National Park and had plans to head to Brewster Hut and Blue Pools on Sunday.
In a bid to find her, police launched a rescue mission and deployed a helicopter to search the mountainous area.
Hours before her body was found police narrowed their search after finding Simpson's daypack and boots.

Sergeant Mark Kirkwood said a search team then found Simpson's body Pyke Creek area, near Brewster Hut, around 1.40pm.
The area has been described as "extremely challenging terrain" by police and had deployed a specialist crew.
Kirkwood had said: "Due to the difficult conditions in the area and the necessity for specialist crews, police do not require any additional volunteers at this time.
"However, we would like to thank those members of the public who have offered assistance."

LandSAR search and rescue staff were joined by two dog teams, the Alpine Cliff Rescue Crew and a canyon search and rescue team from Wanaka.
Stephanie's family had flown out to join the rescue team and told SkyNews that they were "struggling to cope" with her disappearance.
They last heard from her on the family WhatsApp group early on Thursday morning when she told them of her hiking plans.

Her brother-in-law Sam Hazelton previously told the New Zealand Herald that her family in the UK were "hoping upon hope" that she would be found.
He said: ""You can't imagine, it's pretty awful.
"Everybody's just hoping.
"You go to bed thinking: What can we do?'"
Mr Hazelton said Stephanie was an extremely fit and experienced tramper who picked "up new skills quickly.
He said: "She's someone that's done triathlons, running races, marathons, she's really sporty and picks up new skills quickly."
