Prince Harry's upcoming bombshell memoir "is going to be quite a troubled read", a royal expert has said.

The Duke of Sussex, 36, has been secretly working with American "power ghostwriter" JR Moehringer on the book that is set to be released in late 2022, he confirmed on Monday, July 19.

Harry has promised to tell an "accurate and wholly truthful" account of his "highs and lows, the mistakes, the lessons learned".

And now, Joe Little, managing editor of Majesty magazine, has told The Guardian the book could feature stories of Harry's mum Princess Diana as well as his time in the British Army.

Mr Little said: "Of course, he has a lot of demons still about his childhood and the treatment his mother got both at the hand of the establishment and the media.

"Also, having to leave the army much sooner that he would have liked might also manifest itself."

He added: "You would think it is going to be quite a troubled read in a way.
