Brooklyn dog found in Tampa 18 months after going missing

Ol’ Blue Eyes is Back.

A blue-eyed husky named Sinatra has turned up just outside of Tampa, Fla. — 18 months after he ran away from his home in Canarsie.

“I didn’t believe it at first, but when I saw the picture, I broke down in tears,” Sinatra’s overjoyed owner, Lesmore Willis, told after learning of his dog’s inexplicable 1,100-mile sojourn.

Sinatra was the beloved dog of Willis’ daughter, Zion, who was 15 when she died in a tragic gun accident at a friend’s house in November 2015.

The dog ran off about 18 months after the girl’s death, only to be found this month wandering in Seffner, 15 miles east of Tampa.

There, another teenage girl — Rose Verrill, 13 — took him in. The Brooklyn connection was discovered via the dog’s embedded ID chip.
