The light snow that persisted through the weekend will continue through Tuesday.
The bitter cold temperatures that started Denver’s Monday morning should give way to a midweek warmup.
Monday’s high will hit 38 degrees under mostly cloudy skies. A low of 18 degrees and a 40% chance of snow could bring a few inches into the metro area overnight.
According to the National Weather Service in Boulder, the mountains could see up to 4 inches along with heavy winds.
Tuesday’s skies will gradually become clear as the high will barely reach above freezing before dropping back into the teens at night. Wednesday and Thursday should bring a lot more sun and highs in the mid-40s. More snow could be on the way Friday.
