Denver weather: Sunny and clear ahead of Halloween’s full moon – The Denver Post

It’s another clear, sunny day in Denver, weather forecasters predict.

Meteorologists with the National Weather Service in Boulder said to expect temperatures to climb to 69 degrees in the Mile High City on Friday.

Tonight the low will dip to about 36 degrees under clear skies, which should result in excellent viewing of the nearly-full moon.

The full moon will be on display on Halloween night for the first time in nearly two decades, and the weather service predicts skies in Denver will be mostly clear for the celestial display. It will also be a so-called “blue moon.”

Before the full moon rises, temperatures in Denver will climb to 60 degrees on Saturday, and winds could gust up to 20 mph, forecasters said. The low Saturday night is expected to fall to around 30 degrees.
