This is the hilarious moment an enterprising motorist was caught on camera using string attached to a broken wiper to keep his windscreen clear on a rainy day.
The driver was filmed using the bizarre technique while driving down a motorway in the Argentinian capital Buenos Aires.
The unnamed man tied string to the broken wipers and reached out of the window to pull them across the windscreen – using his other hand to drive.

A man filming from a mobile phone can be heard laughing in the background and saying: ‘I cannot believe it.’
The video was later shared on ‘Alertas Transito’, a Twitter feed which keeps people updated on traffic conditions in Buenos Aires.
Some online commentators found the driver’s homemade window-wiping technique innovative and amusing, while others thought it reckless.
