An elderly man called 911 to report that he’d killed his wife — before taking his own life in an apparent murder-suicide in Suffolk County on Thursday, police and law enforcement sources told The Post.
“I shot my wife,” the 90-year-old man said to a dispatcher before turning the handgun on himself, police sources said.
Suffolk County authorities found the couple shot dead just after 10:10 a.m. in their Ronkonkoma home on the corner of Breeze Avenue and Shelter Road, according to authorities.
The identities of the man and his wife, also 90, were not released.
The two were believed to be in failing health, according to sources.
