F-16 fighter jet crashes into California building

An Air Force F-16 fighter jet crashed into the side of a commercial building in California Thursday, authorities said.

No one was injured when the plane from the March Air Reserve Base slammed into the structure off-base in Riverside, said Timothy Holliday, the deputy fire chief at the Air Force Civilian Service.

The pilot safely ejected from the plane while still on the base, he added.
