The family of a four-year-old girl killed by a dog say that since the tragedy they’ve been “overwhelmed by love.”
On Tuesday (January 31) evening, little Alice Stones was attacked by the dog in the garden of her Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire home.
People nearby heard the chilling screams from her mum, 25-year-old Louise Stones, as she shouted “she’s dead, she’s dead”.

Neighbours say Louise had got the dog just six weeks prior to the attack. Thames Valley Police say the dog has been confirmed to belong to the family.
Now, as the funeral of the tot looms, people have been coming together to support and help Louise financially.
People have been raising money on aGoFundMeset up to help the single mother pay for the funeral, with tributes and updates being added by loved ones like friend Grace Wenham, who posted a picture of Alice.
She shared gut-wrenching images of Alice blowing out the candles of her fourth birthday cake in August of last year.
Grace has also posted an update on behalf of Louise, saying: "The family … want to thank everyone who has donated, shared or sent their condolences during this horrendous time.
