London weather forecast for 12pm on Friday December 14

UK outlook for Friday 14 Dec 2018 to Thursday 27 Dec 2018

COLD start then dry for most with sunny spells. Isolated showers possible near eastern coasts as rain spreads into Northern Ireland in the afternoon. Feeling cold.

Wet and windy Saturday, with a chance of heavy snow in the north. Brighter, showery and less cold Sunday. Wet and windy in the southwest later Monday.

Unsettled and windy Tuesday  as coastal gales, cloud, and outbreaks of rain and drizzle move eastwards. Sunny spells and scattered, blustery showers after rain or drizzle. Showers will fall as snow over northern higher ground.

Unsettled weather likely to continue through the remainder of the week and into the Christmas week with further wind and rain scattered with brighter and showery spells. Temperatures a little milder than average.

However, in the period after Christmas Day there is an increased likelihood that milder spells will become short-lived as a colder and more showery northerly or northwesterly regime becomes established across the UK.
