Girl, 12, critical after hit-and-run as cops hunt men who fled crash scene in Barnet | The Sun

A 12-YEAR-OLD girl is fighting for life after a hit-and-run – with cops searching for two men.

The schoolgirl was rushed to hospital after a Vauxhall Astra and a Bentley Continental collided in North London on Saturday night.

The girl is believed to have been a passenger in the Vauxhall, while the two men are thought to have been in the Bentley.

Met Police are now hunting for two men who left the scene on foot before cops arrived.

The young girl suffered critical injuries and now remains in a life-threatening condition in hospital.

Her family have been made aware of her injuries and are being supported by specially trained officers.

The smash happened just after 10pm on 20 August on Colney Hatch Lane N11.

Police say the Bentley has not been reported as lost or stolen and that detectives wish to question the driver and their passenger.

Anyone with information or dashcam/mobile footage is urged to come forward.

Witnesses can call 101 and give reference number CAD 7888 20AUG22.
