ANDREW TATE – who is often very vocal on his social media platforms – remains in custody in Romania.
Having been detained in a series of raids on properties he is linked to in December 2022 , he continues his time behind bars while authorities carry out their investigations.

Andrew Tate currently remains in custody in Romania.
Andrew and his brother Tristan were initially held for 30 days after their arrest on December 29, 2022.
Tate was seen holding a copy of the Quran while entering and leaving his first appeal hearing – which was rejected – following his conversion to Islam.
On January 20, 2023, a further 30 days were added by a Romanian court.

The Tates will now remain in prison until February 27, 2023, after the second appeal against their detention was denied.
The brothers have been held in a "hellhole" Romanian jail cell since their arrest, with reports suggesting that inmates have to spend 23 hours a day in their cells.
Why is Andrew Tate in prison?
Andrew and his brother Tristan were arrested as part of a probe into human trafficking, rape, and organised crime.
They are accused of recruiting women on social media platforms and persuading them to travel to their £600k villa on the outskirts of the country's capital Bucharest.

The brothers would allegedly falsely claim to be in love with the young women, before making them perform sexual acts on webcams.
Women were forced to film porn videos in the compound and were kept under 24/7 house arrest, according to Romanian investigators.
Romanian authorities have reported that they have identified six alleged victims in the case who were subjected to "acts of physical violence and mental coercion" as well as “sexual exploitation”.
When did Andrew Tate get arrested?
Andrew was arrested along with his brother Tristan and two associates on December 29, 2022.
Tate's Romanian home was raided by the Directorate for Investigating Organized Crime and Terrorism (DICCOT) in Bucharest.
Despite this, he has remained active on social media since being incarcerated.
He has consistently denied any wrongdoing, saying that it is the "matrix" that has caused his time inside.
Is Tristan Tate still in prison?
Tristan Tate remains in prison, much like his brother, after both appeals against their detentions were rejected by a Romanian court.
He appeared leaving the court after his initial hearing, handcuffed to his brother and under heavy police supervision.
The social media influencer has been vocal since about the conditions he is being subjected to behind bars.
Despite adding American lawyer, Tina Glandian, to his legal team both he and his brother remain in custody.
She told The Mirror: "Pre-trial detention is the harshest form of punishment.
"Terrible things happen to people when they're in custody; people are killed sometimes in custody, it's dangerous and should be the method of last resort.
"The authorities can continue to extend the detention.
