The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are taking part in a royal visit to South Yorkshire in support of local businesses and charities.
The couple are officially opening McLaren Automotive’s new technology centre and then travelling to Barnsley’s local Centrepoint hostel.
Kate looked stunning as she wore a blue dress for the engagement as she and her husband arrived by car in an understated fashion.
Kate’s recycled coat dress was a £1,650 Eponine London garment, first worn by her in January 2017.
The royals were greeted by McLaren executives and local representatives next to a striking bright orange sportscar.
At the hostel Their Royal Highnesses will meet with young people who are supported by the charity, and visit their new Learning Hub. The Duke has been Patron of Centrepoint since 2005.
The visit is their first official engagement since the poignant Remembrance Sunday where the Duke and Duchess paid tribute to those who had sacrificed their lives in Britain’s military conflicts.
The Duchess of Cambridge looked radiant in a green dress at the Service of Remembrance at Westminster Abbey on Sunday evening.
She was joined by the Duchess of Cornwall and the Queen who both opted for purple outfits, while Meghan appeared alongside her husband wearing a navy skirt and top.
The prominently wore red poppies as a mark of respect for the occasion.
The muted colours marked a contrast to what they wore earlier in the day.
Royals were in all black as they paid tribute at the Cenotaph to those who fell in the Great War.
McLaren is one of the UK’s great automotive success stories, and operates out of Woking in Surrey.
The new £50m facility will provide 200 jobs for the local area.
Later today, royals will mark Prince Charles’ 70th birthday during a birthday bash hosted by the Queen at Buckingham palace.
Photographs to mark the occasion show them collapsing in giggles at something happening behind the camera.
