The pet owner, Siqi, has been sharing clips of her pet Labrador on Douyin, the Chinese equivalent of TikTok.

She captured the footage with her phone on a tripod on Monday when she was doing laundry at her home in Zhanjiang, southern China’s Guangdong Province.

‘I wanted to clean all the toys and clothes to prepare for the Chinese New Year,’ Siqi told MailOnline. ‘Orange began following me as I started picking up her toys.

‘She doesn’t like me washing the toys,’ the owner added. ‘She always looks so worried when I do it.’

In an amusing clip, the pooch can be seen furrowing her brow as she attentively watched her owner hand-washing the toys in a tub.

Orange appeared to be so concerned she even tried to reach for the stuffed figurines with her paw, seemingly trying to prevent the woman from hurting them.

‘I think she was just really worried like she wanted to rescue the toys from the water,’ Siqi said in amusement.

‘But I thought she was so adorable,’ the owner added. ‘She could understand everything I say to her like we have no problem communicating.’

Orange’s adorable expression also melted the hearts of many online after the owner shared the footage on Monday.

One viewer gushed: ‘Look at those little worrying eyes!’

Another commenter said: ‘My dog does the same thing. He gets so worried when I wash his toys.’

While the Labrador might care about her toys the most, another pet dog in China was heartbroken after his favourite food bowl got run over by his owner.

Earlier this month, the seven-month-old Beagle named Tutu is pictured with an ultimate sad face after his owner crushed the pet’s food bowl by accident while reversing his car.
