A woman was so incensed by her boyfriend that she prised open the doors of a moving bus with her bare hands to chase him down the street.
An astonishing video posted on social media shows the determined woman wrestle with the door after publicly arguing with her boyfriend.
The incident was filmed by Sian Bayliss on the number 59 bus heading to Manchester Piccadilly Gardens at around 11am on Wednesday 13th June.
Sian’s video, which was posted on Twitter and watched over 13,000 times, was posted alongside her exasperated comment: "Honest to f***ing God it is too early to witness the s*** I’ve just had to on the number 59."
The woman was filmed forcing the door open after reportedly arguing with her boyfriend after he threw a fake Beatbox speaker at her.
During the argument, the boyfriend is understood to have pressed the emergency button to release the doors before running away down the street.
Sian said the woman failed to notice because she was too busy being abusive to another passenger and spitting at the driver.
“She was arguing with her partner and someone told them to stop swearing," Sian said.
“She then started arguing with the passenger and the driver told them to sit down. They then spat at the driver’s window and her partner left the bus but she stayed on it as she was busy spitting into the driver’s cab."
In the video, the woman can be seen putting her right arm on the outside of the door to keep it open before attempting to sidle out.
It is only when she appears to almost fall from the moving vehicle that the bus driver brings the vehicle to a stop and opens the doors.
Sian admitted that the incident "was scary at the time" but "funny looking back now."
The argument escalated after the woman threw a fake Beatbox speaker at her boyfriend which he then threw back at her.
“They seemed unreasonable," Sian said. "Just the fact that she was approaching another passenger to fight with her when she’d just told them to stop swearing.”
Online user Cba responded: “I used to have to get two buses for an hour each way every single day for two years and I sometimes really do miss it for missing out on content like this in the flesh.”
Clare simply added: “Oh my good lord”.
