A MAN was stabbed on a river close to Windsor Castle after a group of thugs boarded his pleasure boat.
The 25-year-old is in a “serious but stable” condition after being struck repeatedly in the neck and body.
He had been travelling on a boat with friends on the Thames near Eton, Berks, on Wednesday afternoon.
A group of youths on a larger boat then approached with some clambering across to carry out the attack.
The culprits are said to have fled on foot.

No arrests have been made.
The scene is 500m from where Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will marry next month.
Det Sgt Dean Brown, of Thames Valley police, said: “It was a busy day along the river and we believe many people may have witnessed this assault.”
