A murder probe has been launched after a man was stabbed to death in north London.
Police were called to Green Lanes near Turnpike Lane station at about 9.45pm on Saturday where they found a "seriously injured" man in his 30s.
He was pronounced dead at the scene and the Metropolitan Police have launched a murder investigation.
Officers believe they know the identity of the man and are in the process of informing next of kin.
Cordons are in place at the location and local roads are closed. The crime scene includes Ducketts Common, where officers believe the victim may have been stabbed.
There has been no arrest at this very early stage.
