THOUSANDS of American telecom customers have experienced widespread cellphone outages around the country.
Customers of T-Mobile, Metro by T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint all reported outages in areas including Florida, Georgia, New York, and California on Monday afternoon.
The outages have mainly affected T-Mobile – nearly 100,000 customers claimed they were having phone problems just before 3pm, according to Downdetector.com.
Affected areas included Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Atlanta, Chicago, Houston, New York, and Los Angeles, KNBC reported.
T-Mobile was trending Monday afternoon as several users griped about their frustrations on Twitter.
