Pic of police HQ covered in spray paint penises goes viral as man, 26, charged

The offensive graffiti was discovered on the walls and the pathway of the Norfolk Constabulary headquarters.

Simon Green, 26, was arrested and charged in connection with the criminal damage.

The crude depictions of male genitalia were discovered on the police investigation centre in Wymondam on October 29, a Norfolk police spokesman said.

In a photo shared on Facebook, at least six penises can be seen on the walkway leading to the front door and on the wall underneath the “Police Investigation Centre” sign.

Green, of Swaffham, was also arrested and charged for driving without insurance.

He was remanded in custody and appeared at Norwich Magistrates Court on October 30 and was granted bail.

He is due to appear again at the same court for his trial on January 9.

The Facebook post has been shared more than 1,000 times.

Many on Facebook found the artwork “marvellous” and “brilliant”.

One said: “That is marvellous.”

Another said: “Not all hero’s wear capes.”

One jibed: “That is the best thing I ever see mate.”

Another added: “That’s brilliant, penis path!”
