This is the teenage girl was killed after she stalled on a level crossing during her driving test – while her driving instructor jumped out of the car and left her to die.

The girl, named only as Angelika P, died after a train hit the red Suzuki Baleno when it stalled on train tracks in Szaflary, southern Poland.

Her driving examiner has been arrested by police after fleeing the stricken car and faces eight years in jail if convicted.

He has been named as Edward R, aged 62, according to the Sun newspaper.

When he was interviewed by police he claimed he told the 18-year-old to get out the car and run to safety before exiting himself.

However, the student continued to try and restart the car and had managed to get it to move when the train hit.

The horrific accident was captured in the background of CCTV footage from a building close to the railway lines.

It shows the red Suzuki Baleno come to a halt on the unmanned level crossing and the examiner jump out just before the train smashes into the car.
