Police officer performed sex act on a sleeping woman aboard a late night train, tribunal hears

A COP drunkenly performed a sex act on a sleeping woman on a packed late night train, a tribunal heard yesterday.

Sergeant Kyle Blood was on his way home from an evening out in Soho, central London.

After a short chat with the woman, 31, known only as AB, he kissed her before she fell asleep.

Other passengers saw Blood “with his knees on the floor of the carriage and her legs in the air”, the tribunal heard.

Giving evidence the woman said: “I was shocked. That was when one of the young men came over and spoke to me.

"At first I was sort of numb to what had happened. When other people came up and asked: ‘Are you alright?” I could feel what had happened.

“I felt hurt and I felt upset.”

Blood, a cop based at Edmonton, North London, denies she was asleep.

He stood trial at Luton crown court last year but was cleared of sexually assaulting the woman.

Judge Barbara Mensah had said after his acquittal last year: “The defendant leaves the court without a stain on his character.

“But I want to say this – I think right-thinking members of the public would question whether Mr Blood, even on his own account, is a right and proper person to be a police officer.”

Blood, 38, of Luton, is now facing a single allegation of gross misconduct.

He broke down in tears as he said he was about to lose his dream job.

The Met disciplinary hearing continues in Fulham, South West London.
