Police seal off fried chicken shop after boy, 15, is stabbed to death

A 15-year-old boy has been stabbed to death in London.

The teen was found with several wounds and rushed to hospital – but was sadly pronounced dead three hours later.

Police and the ambulance service were called to Randlesdown road, Bellingham in Lewisham, at 5.22pm.

The boy was taken to a south London hospital, but despite efforts to save him, he died at 8.15pm.

Last night, the area around Morley’s fried chicken shop was sealed off and forensic officers were seen going inside.

On the floor of the takeaway medical paraphernalia could be seen along with wound dressings and a first aid bag.

News of the stabbing has left the community in shock.

One person wrote on Twitter: "A 15 year old has been stabbed to death in my area Bellingham, SE6.

"15 ffs it’s getting ridiculous! The world we live in now is a joke!

"I’m a father of 2 boys and their teenage years are gonna be effected by events like these cuz I’m gonna be on them 24/7! RIP young lad."

Another added: "Lawless London and it will get worse."

While in a tribute, one mum wrote: "It’s my son’s friend. I’m numb and my 13yr old son is crying his heart out. We only saw him yesterday night. R.i.p xxx".

A Met Police spokesman said: "His next of kin are aware.
