Private jet holiday available for £28,000 per person for 23-day tour

Now you can join the private jet set… but only if you can find £28,000 per person for a 23-day grand tour

  • Travel Titan is muscling in on what has often been an exclusive market
  • The £28,000 per head holiday will go from Rome to Rajasthan
  • Guests will be flown to nine destinations across the 23-day grand tour
  • Bosses believe it will appeal to their market despite the hefty fees

Flying by private jet has long been the preferred mode of air travel for celebrities and tycoons alike.

But it is now available for family holidays – assuming you can afford to pay £28,000 a head.

Titan Travel, a firm that began by offering coach tours, is now muscling in on this exclusive market with the launch of its first holiday by private jet.

On the Grand Tour from Rome to Rajasthan, guests will be flown from London to six countries and nine destinations in 23 days, with a dedicated airline crew and guides. Luxury accommodation is provided and guests will get gourmet dining, private VIP transfers and all entry visas and porterage included.

Despite the hefty price, bosses are convinced it will appeal to their market. Described as a ‘once-in-a-lifetime experience that will hark back to the golden age of travel’, the tour begins with guests picked up from home and whisked to the private jet terminal at Stansted Airport.

Titan Travel are muscling in on an exclusive market that has often attracted the wealthiest celebrities. But now families can travel in private jets for £28,000 per head

A dedicated operations director and team then look after the 65 passengers on the Boeing 737-400.

Among the highlights of the trip will be a private tour of the Vatican and Sistine Chapel, a gala dinner at Jaipur’s Samode Palace, and a night under the stars in the Jordanian desert.

Titan managing director Andy Squirrell said: ‘We knew there would be pent-up demand after the pandemic and we wanted to create something inspirational.

‘The tour is in 2023 but the plane is half full with confirmed bookings and there’s a mix of age groups, with couples, solo travellers and friends.’

As a comparison for price, to hire a four-seat private jet for the 40-minute flight from London to Manchester costs about £2,700. Aviation expert Gordon Smith describes the Titan concept as a more affordable air cruise or even an air safari. ‘It will appeal to discerning travellers who want to take in some of the world’s hidden gems without the fuss of crowded airports and overbooked airlines.’

He added: ‘I’ve no doubt other travel companies will be watching closely and bring similar packages to market if Titan can make this work.’
