Queens teen found dead on family’s lawn after leaving for errand

A 17-year-old girl was found dead on her family’s lawn in Queens early Monday after she never returned home from an errand, cops said.

A concerned relative went outside the home, on 186th Street near Union Turnpike in Fresh Meadows around 1:15 a.m. after Yixuan Yin was gone for a “lengthy” amount of time, police said.

The family member found Yin lying on the grass unconscious and unresponsive.

She was rushed to NYC Health & Hospitals/Queens, where she was pronounced dead.

Her body showed no obvious signs of trauma, and it was unclear whether there was any criminality involved, cops said.

The city medical examiner’s office will confirm her cause of death.
