A rampaging dolphin is believed to have been responsible for biting six swimmers in separate attacks.
Two men in their 40s were taken to hospital during the latest attacks at the Japanese beach resort of Koshino on Thursday (August 11).
One of the victims was bitten on both arms and the back of his hand, while the other man sustained injuries to fingers on his left hand.

The dolphin also bit swimmers when they tried to pose for a picture with it and a girl was left with a bleeding wound after the irritable animal gnawed on her ankle.
Further attacks have been reported at nearby beaches with another video showing a man being chased by a group of swimming dolphins as concerned tourists watch on from the shore.
Police, meanwhile, have warned members of the public not to swim near dolphins if they spot them in the sea, with signs erected urging people to exercise caution and not to touch the animals, who have been know to swim in water as shallow as knee-deep.

Ultrasonic transmitters have also been installed along the beach in an attempt to deter the dolphins from the area.
It is not known what species of dolphin has been responsible for the six attacks but bottlenose, striped and Risso's dolphins are the most common to be found in Japanese waters.
Attacks by the popular sea mammals remain rare across the world although, nine years ago in Ireland, two women were attacked by the same dolphin in separate attacks 10 days apart.
Also in Ireland, five swimmers had to be rescued off the coast in 2014 when they were cornered by an aggressive dolphin.
