Reddit users fuming after gravy-loving bloke shares photo of bangers and mash

Reddit users have been left bemused after one gravy-loving Brit revealed the strange way he eats his bangers and mash.

The bloke, whose display name on the site is Tinyrodents, shared a picture of his dish on the thread UK Casual, and elicited a slew of confused responses.

"This is the minimum proportion of gravy to mash required for bangers and mash. Not accepting personal chef requests," he wrote.

Accompanying the post was a picture of the dish in question, a bowl nearly full to the brim with gravy with the potato barely visible under the liqud, and the sausages jammed into the spud, standing like fence posts.

"Jesus f***. It's like the remnants of a destroyed pier, nothing but posts sticking out of a quagmire," responded one perplexed Redditor.

Another person likened the upright sausages to the yellow pillars sticking out of The O2 Arena in London.

A third person wrote: "F****** hell thought it was a mangled hand emerging from a swamp at first sight."

"That's just Potato and sausage soup," another person said simply.

"Time Team will be round to dig out the rest of that ancient wooden ship," another said.

In other strange sausage news, last month we reported how Romanian side Regal Hornia once signed a player, Marius Cioara, from UT Arad for the curious fee of 15 kilos of pork sausages.

However, the deal didn't last long, as the very next day, Cioara decided to hang up his boots in embarrassment.

A local newspaper quoted Cioara as saying: "The sausage taunts all got too much; they were joking, but I would have got more from the Germans and making sausage jokes was a huge insult.

"I have decided to go to Spain where I have got a job on a farm."

Regal Hornia, who had given up on their 'weeks allowance' of sausages, asked for the food back.
