Seven people have been shot dead at a synagogue in Jerusalem.
It has been confirmed that a 70-year-old was one of the victims killed, whilst a 15-year-old boy was among three people who were also injured at the scene and he is now recovering from surgery.
The gunman was shot and killed by Israeli police, who have described the incident as a "terror attack".

It happened at a Jewish temple in the disputed district of Neve Yaakov at 8.15pm local time (6.15pm UK time) on Friday (January 27).
The area is considered to be a neighbourhood within Jerusalem by Israelis, while Palestinians and much of the international community regard it as occupied land that was illegally annexed following the Six-Day War in 1967.
Police have described the gunman as a 21-year-old Palestinian man from East Jerusalem and reported that he had carried out the attack alone.
He was killed after officers gave chase when he tried to flee the scene in a car and was shot after an exchange of fire, with Israeli police commissioner Kobi Shabtai calling the mass shooting "one of the worst attacks we have encountered in recent years".
The shooting followed the Israeli military's deadly raid on Thursday (January 26) when nine Palestinians were killed in the occupied West Bank before a 10th was also killed later north of Jerusalem.

Gaza militants subsequently fired missiles and Israel reacted with overnight air strikes, although no casualties were reported.

The Palestinian Islamic Jihad have praised the attack but not claimed responsibility for it.
UK Foreign Secretary James Cleverly has condemned it, saying: "To attack worshippers at a synagogue on Holocaust Memorial Day, and during Shabbat, is horrific. We stand with our Israeli friends."
