Three people died in Denver on Friday in a road-rage shooting that led to a crash with the suspect fleeing the scene.
The incident happened at about 6 p.m. near East 39th Avenue and Peoria Street, according to Denver police.
Two dark-colored, mid-size sedans were southbound on Peoria Street next to each other when shots were fired from one sedan, police said. The sedans kept going south, at a high speed, onto a bridge over railroad tracks. One of the sedans crashed into a pickup truck and the driver of the other sedan, from which shots were fired, fled the scene southbound over the bridge.
Two males in the sedan that crashed were pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The driver of the pickup truck was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
