Toronto police will provide an update Wednesday afternoon on the investigation into a shooting in the west end earlier in May where a 26-year-old man was shot and killed.
Police said Blain Gerrado Grindley was found unresponsive by officers in a town house complex on John Garland Boulevard, near Humber College Boulevard after 1 p.m. on May 1.
The Toronto resident was pronounced dead at the scene.
A press conference on the murder investigation is expected to begin at 2 p.m. at Toronto Police Headquarters.
Global News spoke to Grindley’s mother, Allison Ashley, on May 9 and she described her son as fun and loving. She said she wanted him to be remembered as someone who cared deeply for his family and friends.
Police have not released any information on possible suspects involved in Grindley’s murder, but his family have asked people with information to come forward.
