Two men gunned down in double shooting in London

“At this stage, no arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing”

The men – aged in their 20s – were shot in Francis Road, Leyton, on Sunday evening.

Cops were alerted at 6.48pm following reports that gunshots had been heard. 

When they arrived, officers found two men with bullet wounds.

Paramedics then rushed the pair to a nearby hospital for further treatment. 

Their injuries are not believed to be life-changing or life-threatening. 

Police cordons are currently in place along Francis Road and Tyndall Road. 

A Metropolitan Police spokeswoman told Daily Star Online: “At this stage, no arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.”
