Watch live: Final debate between President Trump and Joe Biden underway

The second and final presidential debate between President Trump and Democratic challenger Joe Biden is underway in Nashville, with the candidates looking to make a closing argument in prime-time, less than two weeks out from Election Day.

Both men have had a chance to regroup following a raucous first debate last month in Cleveland, with a rematch originally scheduled for last week scrapped in the wake of Trump’s coronavirus diagnosis, leading instead to dueling solo town hall events.

In an attempt to help moderator and NBC News journalist Kristen Welker maintain control, the Commission on Presidential Debates has announced that each candidate will have his mic muted during his opponent’s initial, two-minute response to a new topic.

But the debate promises to be just as fiery as the first tilt, if not more, with Trump poised to hammer Biden on The Post’s reporting about the overseas business dealings of his son, Hunter — and what the former vice president may have known about the transactions, despite previously pleading ignorance.

To help punctuate that line of questioning, Trump invited Tony Bobulinski, a former business associate of Hunter Biden, to attend the debate and he held a press conference beforehand where he effectively called the former vice president a liar.

The Biden camp has suggested that he will reject the new information about his son as “Russian misinformation.”

Biden, meanwhile, is set to again hammer Trump on his administration’s response to the coronavirus, an attack given new heft since the first debate in light of the president’s own battle with the bug that has killed over 220,000 Americans.
